Anna Sgambato, MSW RSW

Child & Family Therapist

Anna is a graduate of the Master’s in Social Work Program at Wilfried Laurier University. She has been working in the mental health field for over 20 years. Anna continues to be curious and inspired by the strength, creativity and resilience of people of all ages, who experience life challenges related to trauma, loss and oppression because of race, culture, spirituality, gender expression and sexuality.

Her approach is informed by her experience and training in play-based and mindfulness therapies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) and client-centered, psychodynamic therapy. Colleagues and clients have described Anna’s therapeutic style as warm, collaborative and accessible, while supporting people to feel connected with their values and energized.

Anna is registered with the OCSWSSW and the OASW
