Child & Youth Care Worker

Chelsea completed the Child and Youth Worker program at Mohawk College with honours in 2015. Chelsea has completed placements with the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board in both elementary and high school settings. She completed a second placement, providing therapeutic and life skills programming at St. Martin’s Manor in Hamilton - a residential and outreach program for young mothers in the community.

Chelsea has worked at St. Martin’s Manor, in the Infant and Toddler Development Program as well as the Halton District School Board in an Educational Assistant role. She also has extensive personal experience working with people with Traumatic and Acquired Brain Injuries.

 

Chelsea looks forward to building rapport with children and youth in a more clinical setting and introducing the community to the benefits of NeurOptimal Neurofeedback at The Play Clinic at the Hamilton office.

 

Chelsea is a member of the OACYC.
