Debbie Tucker
Bachelor Social Work Candidate

Debbie grew up in the Parry Sound region and has enjoyed calling the Niagara area home for over a decade. She holds diplomas in both the Child and Youth Worker and Personal Support Worker programs from Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario. With over 25 years of experience,
Debbie has worked with clients facing physical, mental, developmental, and emotional challenges. Her commitment to continuous learning has led her to pursue an Indigenous Bachelor of Social Work at Laurentian University. Debbie is particularly excited about applying the knowledge she gains to real-life counselling, both individually and in groups, thanks to the diverse services offered by The Play Clinic team.
In her free time, Debbie loves exploring the outdoors with her dog, Rogan, and relaxing with her cat, Mortimer. She also has a deep passion for history and genealogy, often diving into research to uncover the roots of her family’s heritage and better understand her own ancestry.
