Meet The Team

Joel Cisilino is graduate of the Bachelor’s of Social Work and Master’s of Social Work from the University of Windsor. Joel has experience working as a mental health professional as a child mental health counsellor , and worked with adults to address substance abuse issues, anger management concerns, and hoarding behaviours. 

Joel approaches counselling with an eclectic approach that aims to meet the client where they are at in life. Joel works with clients to focus on identified needs and wants from the counselling experience and to ensure felt safety in a therapeutic environment. 

Joel has completed​​ 

• Parts Work in Play (Internal Family Systems Informed) 

• Non Directive Play Therapy training (with the CAPT)  

• Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), level 1 

• EMDR Basic Training 

Joel is a registered social worker with the OCSWSSW.
