Meet The Team
Anna Klimentova, MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker
Life doesn’t usually ask permission before it changes. Sometimes one event can divide our life into before and after. Anna believes that even our most difficult experiences can become opportunities to discover strengths, grow, and build something new.
Anna is a Registered Social Worker who works with children, adults, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Her approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and creative, with a focus on helping clients understand what is happening, recognize the resources they already have, and find practical ways forward.
Anna draws from CBT, motivational interviewing, narrative and parts-based approaches, psychoeducation, and art-based techniques. She has previous counselling experience with adults and is continuing to develop her work with children and families, including upcoming EMDR training with a child and adolescent focus.
Creativity is an important part of Anna’s work. She is the founder and author of Wise Turtle Stories™, where she creates psychoeducational stories, workshops, and practical tools that make difficult psychological concepts easier to understand for people of different ages.
Before entering social work, Anna spent more than 20 years in communications and organizational leadership. Having experienced major life changes herself, she understands that sometimes the old map simply stops working and believes therapy can help us find solid ground and begin discovering what comes next.
